Yum Yum!~ From 5 February 2018, Swissôtel Merchant Court Singapore bring us their delicious Lunar New Year Prosperity Buffet at Ellenborough Market Café, an exquisite celebratory set menu for groups of 10 and auspicious takeaway treats.

AMBIENCE
Located at Swissotel Merchant Court Hotel. It is near the Clarke Quay mrt. The interior is very spacious with modern Peranakan touch.

FOOD
PROSPERITY SMOKED SALMON YU SHENG
Smoked Salmon Salad with Lemon and Plum Sauce, Pickled Melon, Vegetable, Cucumber, Leek, Sour Ginger, Sweetened Ginger, Lime, Winter Gourd, Crushed Peanuts, Sesame Seeds, Pomelo, Shredded Carrot, White Radish, Green Radish, Purple Cabbage and Pok Chui (Prosperity Crackers). I alway love Yu Sheng! So fun! Everyone toss and says all their wishes!~ Huat ar~ The Creative Salmon Yu Sheng are so adorable! Haha How to bear to toss them HAHA?!

PROSPERITY SET MEALS
Prosperity Set Meals have a great variety of delicious auspicious creations such as Double-boiled Fish Maw with Dried Scallop and Cordycep Flower, Imperial Herbal Chicken, Hong Kong Style Fried Garoupa, Wok-Fried Asparagus with Pearl Scallop in XO Sauce and Double-boiled ‘Hasma’ with Red Dates. I love the flavourful fish maw soup, the plumpy scallop and the tender herbal chicken with hints of herbs.

You can top up $28++ and enjoy an additional serving of sliced abalone with your Yu Sheng
Their Buffet also offer delicious tender Chicken, Char Siew, Duck and Pork Belly from our Roast Station and culinary treasures such as Hong Kong Style Steamed Garoupa, Stir-fried Asparagus with Scallop in XO Sauce and Stewed Dried Oyster with Black Moss in Tianjin Cabbage. There is also Peranakan cuisine such as Ayam Buah Keluak, Wok-Fried Slipper Lobster in Black Bean Sauce. Not forgetting my all-time favourite, Durian Pengat. There are also festive goodies, from delectable Pineapple Tarts to sweet treats such as Love Letters, Kueh Bangkit, Kueh Bahulu and Mandarin Orange Pound Cake.
