Planning a family trip to Jeju, South Korea this December? Our 9-day itinerary is packed with kid-friendly activities, exciting attractions, and unforgettable experiences perfect for families with young kids. Get ready to make amazing memories in Jeju with this ultimate travel guide!
We visited Jeju about 10 years ago—wow, time really flies! You can check out our previous travel itinerary from that trip. Back then, we didn’t have kids, so this time our itinerary was totally different. Plus, we’re visiting in winter, which made the experience even more special! The boys got to experience snow for the first time, and it was magical.
A 9-day trip to Jeju might seem long for some families, but we wanted a more relaxing experience. With three young kids, traveling to other parts of Korea would’ve been too tiring for us. Instead, we decided to take it easy, focus on enjoying Jeju, and make the most of our time together.

Day 1: Singapore -> Jeju
We decided to book a direct flight to Jeju, and Scoot was our only option. I was a bit worried about the space and service, but thankfully, the flight was quite smooth. Of course, it wasn’t as comfortable as flying with Singapore Airlines (in our previous Australia trip), but it worked out. The only downside was the midnight flight, so by the time we landed, the boys were exhausted from lack of sleep.
We picked up our rental car from Rent-a-Car Jeju Auto House, and the process was super easy. To our surprise, the shuttle bus we took to get there was a cute Tayo bus! The boys were absolutely delighted to board it.
After picking up our car, we headed to Martro, a 24-hour grocery store, to stock up on essentials like ramen, milk, and fruits. They had a wide variety of items, perfect for buying in bulk! But I prefer eMart or Lotte Mart for our groceries shopping. We then stopped for a quick coffee break at Ediya Coffee before checking into our Airbnb accommodation.
The boys were thrilled with the playroom and pool at our Airbnb in Jeju! The serene and quiet surroundings made it a perfect family-friendly retreat, especially for those with young kids seeking a calm and relaxing getaway. It was the ideal start to our Jeju adventure! Our stylish rented car, featuring a big screen that keeps the kids entertained and alert during long drives. Perfect for keeping the little ones engaged while you focus on the journey ahead! After settling in, we treated ourselves to a mouthwatering dinner at a nearby Korean BBQ restaurant. To top it off, we celebrated my birthday with a delicious cake from Paris Baguette—what a fantastic way to wrap up our first day in Jeju!
Our day in Jeju started with a visit to Landing Coffee, where we indulged in delicious cakes and coffee while soaking in the tranquil scenery right beside the cafe—a perfect spot for relaxation.
Next, we headed to Aqua Planet Jeju, a must-visit attraction that left us in awe. The aquarium is incredibly impressive, showcasing a wide variety of sea creatures in a clean and well-maintained environment. The stunning ocean views behind the aquarium added to the experience, and the indoor playground was a hit with our boys. Don’t miss the must-see show at Aqua Planet—it’s a fantastic performance with skilled actors and mesmerizing lighting, making it a top attraction for families.
Before calling it a day, we stopped by Emart to stock up on groceries, which offered a great variety and served as an excellent alternative to Martro. Honestly, I prefer Emart than Martro.
Day 3: Pororo Park
We kicked off our day at the Pororo & Tayo Theme Park in Jeju, which turned out to be the boys’ absolute favorite attraction! The park is perfect for young children, with rides and activities tailored just for them. Since our kids are still little, they could enjoy almost all the rides, and the best part? There weren’t long queues, making it a stress-free experience. The park features interactive play zones and vibrant attractions based on the beloved characters Tayo and Pororo, keeping the little ones entertained for hours. If your kids are fans of these characters, they’ll absolutely love this place!
There are also outdoor rides, and even though it was chilly, we braved the cold for some extra fun. Note that Pororo Park and Tayo Station require separate tickets, but we opted for the combo ticket to access both. We had lunch at the park, and the food was surprisingly decent. For families traveling from Singapore to Jeju, the Pororo & Tayo Theme Park is a must-visit attraction that promises a fun-filled day for young kids!
Dinner at Gozip Dol Wooluck in Jeju was an unforgettable experience! The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to help us manage our three energetic boys. One staff member even assisted me in serving the kids, which was such a thoughtful gesture. The kids’ meals were a huge hit, and the overall food was delicious, flavorful, and served in generous portions. For the price, it was an absolute steal—you get so much value for what you pay.
Day 4: Road 1100
We enjoyed a delightful brunch at Cafe On in Jeju, and it was an experience to remember! The presentation of the food was absolutely stunning—picture-perfect and Instagram-worthy. Each dish was unique, refreshing, and incredibly satisfying, leaving us feeling nourished and happy. The staff were also very friendly, adding to the warm and welcoming atmosphere.
We had an unforgettable snow play experience at Road 1100 in Jeju—it was the boys’ first time playing in the snow, and they were absolutely thrilled! They even got to experience snowfall, which made the moment even more magical. The excitement on their faces was priceless. Road 1100 also has a convenient rest area and stopover, making it a perfect spot for families traveling with kids.
We had dinner at Jeju Black Cattle, where we tried the renowned Jeju black cow for the first time—a delicacy once reserved only for kings! The beef was incredibly tender, flavorful, and served in a variety of delicious ways, making it a truly unique dining experience We had an unforgettable dinner at Jeju Black Cattle, where we tried the renowned Jeju black cow for the first time—a delicacy once reserved only for kings! The beef was incredibly tender, flavorful, and served in a variety of delicious ways, making it a truly unique dining experience (read: not cheap too!).
Day 5: Dochidol Ranch
Enjoying a delightful brunch at First Trip with You Café & Restaurant was an absolute highlight! The food was not only delicious but also beautifully plated, making every bite Instagram-worthy. The charming tangerine orchard and rustic warehouse setting added a unique, well-maintained vibe to the experience.
Later, the kids had an unforgettable time getting up close with adorable alpacas and other friendly animals at Dochidol Ranch—a perfect family-friendly activity in Singapore! A little tip: we grabbed a heat pack from the ranch, and it was a lifesaver in the chilly weather. It kept us warm throughout the day, and for those who want one, you can also find this heat pack on Shopee—highly recommended!
As the little ones dozed off, we picked up some tasty takeaway burgers from Fizz Burger to end the day on a satisfying note.
Day 6: Teddy Bear Museum
We enjoyed an incredible brunch at Café Jeju Kiwa—OMG, their brunch menu is next-level! Not only was the food delicious, but every dish was also insta-worthy gorgeous. Since my boys aren’t huge fans of Korean food, we often opt for brunch spots for lunch, and this one did not disappoint!
After fueling up, we headed to the Teddy Bear Museum, which was a hit with the kids—they were thrilled to pick out their own teddy bears! Pro tip for travelers: We had a minor hiccup at the museum’s car park—they don’t accept foreign credit cards, but thankfully, some kind locals helped us out.
For dinner, we indulged in Korean BBQ at Dombedon in Jeju’s famous Black Pork Street. The juicy black pork and comforting fried rice were the perfect way to end our day!
We split our Jeju stay between two family-friendly accommodations – our new Airbnb wowed the kids with its awesome play area! Returned to Road 1100 for more snow fun (though busier this time) – perfect for Singapore kids experiencing snow. Refueled at Yeongsil Guksu where even our picky eater loved the comforting noodles. Finished our day at Lotte Mart, loading up on must-buy Korean snacks and Jeju specialties to bring home!
Day 8: Cheonjiyeon Falls
We started our day with an amazing Korean BBQ lunch at Boreum Sup – the meat was tender, smoky and full of flavor. A must-try for meat lovers visiting Jeju! Next, we visited Cheonjiyeon Falls, which turned out to be perfect for our young kids. The easy walking trail leads to a beautiful waterfall, and our little ones loved exploring the path.We grabbed some tasty Korean street food before leaving – always a hit with children! The boys enjoyed it so much they fell asleep in the car afterwards, giving me time to shop at Olive Young for my favorite K-beauty products. Dinner was takeaway fried chicken from Jejusluvdak – crispy, juicy and absolutely delicious. Trust me, you can’t visit Jeju without trying their famous fried chicken!
Day 9: Hamdeok Beach
Our last morning in Jeju began with the sweetest local experience – picking fresh tangerines right behind our Airbnb! The kids absolutely loved plucking the sun-ripened fruits straight from the trees (pro tip: this made for adorable Instagram photos).
We then headed to Melbuzz Roastery & Brunch Cafe, where we devoured their incredible pasta dishes – the rich, flavorful sauces were absolutely worth writing home about!
Next stop: Hamdeok Beach, where the kids enjoyed building sandcastles. Fair warning though – the sea breeze here is no joke! After our beach adventure, we stopped by Baskin-Robbins for creamy gelato – the perfect midday pick-me-up! We returned to our wonderful Airbnb for a simple homecooked noodle dinner before packing up for our flight back to Singapore
Day 10: Departure
Let’s be honest – that 8:40 AM Scoot flight from Jeju to Singapore? Not exactly the relaxing end we’d hoped for. With no other non-stop options available, we braced ourselves for the early morning madness. Between last-minute packing until 4 AM, refueling the rental car, navigating to Jeju Airport, and catching the terminal shuttle, every minute counted!
