I just found a hidden gem at Raffles City where quality omakase starts at just $19.90!
我在莱佛士城 (Raffles City) 发现了一家日料店,高品质的 Omakase 竟然只要 $19.90 起!”
I am always on the hunt for a fantastic sushi spot that won’t cost a bomb. Finding a high-quality omakase experience in Singapore usually means preparing for a hefty bill, but we recently visited Sushidan at Raffles City and they are completely redefining affordable luxury. Serving up premium Edomae sushi at incredibly accessible price points, the spread was simply too good not to share.
What We Tasted: The Nanairo Set & Toro Zanmai
I opted for the Nanairo set ($29.90) because I wanted a better variety of sushi to try. I also had the Toro Zanmai. For the price point, the quality of the fish is honestly very impressive. The sashimi cuts were fresh and melted in the mouth. It is a very solid option if you want a proper sushi meal without overspending. The quality and freshness of the fish were wonderful for the price point, proving that you do not have to compromise on taste when dining on a budget.

The 1-for-1 Makizushi Weekday Deal
To make the meal even more worth it, you definitely cannot miss their weekday 1-for-1 Makizushi festival deal. It is available strictly on weekdays for dine-in from 3 PM to 6 PM (last order at 5 PM).
We enjoyed both the decadent Unagi Zen and flavour-packed Takumi rolls! 🍣✨ The Unagi Zen was wonderfully rich and savoury, while the Takumi roll brought an amazing combination of textures and tastes to the table. Every single piece was generously filled, making it the perfect mid-afternoon treat to share.
If you have time in the afternoon, you should definitely time your visit for their weekday 1-for-1 Makizushi deal. It runs strictly on weekdays for dine-in from 3 PM to 6 PM (last order at 5 PM).
I had both the Unagi Zen and the Takumi rolls. The rolls were generously filled and had a great mix of textures. Getting two of these for the price of one makes the meal very worth it, especially for an afternoon catch-up with friends.

💡 Eatdreamlove Tips for Your Visit
- Customisable Omakase: If you like having control over what you eat, they recently launched a Jiyu Omakase Set for $34.90. This lets you select your own preferred sushi progression instead of leaving it entirely to the chef.
- The Hidden Premium Counter: If you are looking to spend a bit more for a special occasion, there is a hidden premium omakase experience starting from $98. It is actually helmed by a veteran Japanese sushi master whose previous menus regularly exceeded $300 per guest!
It is a great spot for a casual lunch or early dinner. I highly recommend making a reservation if you plan to visit during peak hours.
This post is brought to you by Sushidan. Do check on their website for more details.
