Mak's Noodles ~ I was recommended to Mak's Noodles since many years ago. That was during my first trip to Hong Kong. My friend told me it was the best wonton noodles he had ever eaten. They are also branded to best Wonton Noodles in Hong Kong. Now they are also in Singapore. No need to travel to Hong Kong to satisfy craving. I decided to give their Vivocity Outlet a try.
Mak's Noodles has originated from Guangzhou, China in 1920. Their first outlet start in Singapore at Centre Point, Orchard. Followed by Westgate. Now their 3rd Outlet has just opened its door at Vivocity!

A small cozy cafe. There weren't many people in the place. I could have went during off-peak period as I was there on a weekday late afternoon.

They have designed a drawer at each table to store all their saucers, napkins and chopsticks. This make it easier for the service staff. No need to lay it on the table for each customer. We just easily help ourselves to them. No need to ask the service staff for more saucer or napkins. Easier for customers too.

Wonton Noodles Soup ~ S$6.90
Similarly with the Hong Kong outlet, It is quite a small portion. I think some people may need to order 2 portions. It is slightly a bit too salty but the noodles are very springy. QQ!~ The wonton is filled with prawns. It is ideal if you would like to have light lunch/dinner.

Wonton & Beef Brisket Noodles Soup ~ S$7.80
The beef brisket was tender and flavourful. Wonton and noodles are similar to the review above.

Homemade Barley S$3.50 ~ Nice and Refreshing Cooling Barley to beat the heat!
