My Rating: (4 out of 5)

Jumbo Seafood @ NSRCC (National Service Resort & Country Club)~ First thought come into my mind is their Chilli Crab~ They are famous for their seafood dishes. I didn't know that they serve Dim Sum during lunch time. I was a bit skeptical initially for this seafood restaurant offering dim sum. I am glad that they never fail to amaze me. The dim sum was delicious! Jumbo_2

Ambience
The place is very spacious. Almost like a big ballroom. They also have some area that they can convert them into smaller private rooms. There are also tanks of fishes and crabs. A lot of the customers were in golf attire as they must come to play golf at the country club. The place is not very accessible. It is either you drive or you take cab there. Jumbo_45 Jumbo_3

Service
The service is swift. Their order sheet is interesting. Usually you will just need to write the quantity of the dim sum you are ordering. You just shade the quantity in the Jumbo order sheet. I guess that helps to make it easier for the service staff to read the quantity. Jumbo_OrderSheet

Food
We ordered lots of dim sum to share. My classics favourites are Har Kau Prawn Dumplings, Siew Mai Pork Dumplings, Rice Rolls (Cheong Fun), Porridge with Pork & Century Egg. They are always the must order at every dim sum place I go. I notice they have a interesting unique dim sum dish. Braised Fish Maw with Prawn Paste. A must try if you enjoy fish maw. I will definitely come back for this dish. Their pan-fried carrot cake is also slight crispy on the outside and soft in the inside. I love the baked crispy milk encrusted char siew bun. So so soft. It literally melt into my mouth~

Custard Bun (Liu Sha Bao) The new all time favourite. Don't the 4 little buns look so innocently? Once you take a bite, the filling simply burst into your mouth!~ Be careful as sometime it might too hot for you to eat it yet. But never leave it cold or you will regret!

Chicken with Glutinous Rice wrapped in Lotus Leaf. The glutinous rice is soft, sticky, and filled with essence from the juicy chicken and fragrance from lotus leaf. Soft Soft Melt melt into my mouth~ Jumbo_37 Jumbo_38

Sweet Yam Paste with Pumpkin and Ginkgo Nuts. A popular traditional teochew dessert. One of my favourite desserts. The smooth delicate yam paste is lightly sweet.
