Invited Tasting: Pixy Singapore

Pixy Restaurant & Bar~ Located in one of the shophouse at Mohamed Sultan. Pixy is a cozy place where we can just relax and enjoy food and drinks. They offer French cuisine with a japanese twist by Chef Tomine Nobuaki (Nobu). They had just launched their Autumn Degustation Menu (priced at S$100++ per person) comprising of 5 dishes (Foie Gras Flan, Wara Smoked Bonito, Dragon & Buri, Roasted Irish Duck Rouennaise, Magical Banana). I love the Foie Gras Flan and Roasted Irish Duck Rouennaise the most! The Foie Gras Flan is silky smooth while the Roasted Irish Duck Rouennaise is flavourful and tender!

Invited: Pororo Park Singapore at Marina Square

Pororo Park Singapore~ It is Little Travis's FIRST time in an Indoor Playground! He was having so much Fun! Pororo Park Singapore is a 11,000 square feet play and educational indoor playground at Marina Square. Easily accessible by 3 MRT Stations (City Hall/ Esplanade/ Promenade MRT)! The park is themed after the award-winning top Korean animation ‘Pororo the Little Penguin’. The Pororo Park features an indoor playground with educational and entertainment elements. It is a great time for parents to have fun with their kids too! Alternatively, the parents can also chill at their Loopy's cafe while the kids can have their own fun!

Labyrinth (Esplanade)

LABYRINTH (ESPLANADE)~ An Instagram-Worthy restaurant that offers a mind-blowing dining experience especially to the locals. The popular local dishes are all transformed into a totally different form. It is very CREATIVE. A restaurant with interiors designed in dark shades. It looks quite stylish and cozy. We especially enjoy the HOKKAIDO SCALLOP and INDONESIAN PORK BELLY.

Hyang To Gol (Raffles City)

HYANG TO GOL (RAFFLES CITY)~ This outlet is very accessible as it is located right above City Hall Mrt. Great Location. After having a meal, still can go shopping. The outlet is attractive and comforting. We especially enjoyed the Ginseng Chicken Soup. The portion is very generous. The soup was flavourful and the chicken was moist and tender.

MISCHIEF ~ Located at Esplanade. It offers fusion cuisine with American and South-East Asian Street elements. After a delicious dinner, you can take a nice stroll along the waterfront and enjoy the city scenery. I especially enjoyed the Mischief Grilled Platter, Fried Chicken Burger and Buffalo Wings.

SHINJI by Kanesaka (Carlton Hotel)~ Located at Carlton Hotel. The interior is intimate with elegance. The main sushi counter was actually singularly carved from the trunk of a 220-year-old Japanese cypress or hinoki tree. A great option for japanese food lovers and special occasions. We enjoyed all our dishes. The most memorable were the mouth-watering tuna belly sushi, uni sushi and honey dew dessert.

Invited Tasting: Chef Wan’s Kitchen (Esplanade Mall)

CHEF WAN's KITCHEN ~ Chef Wan, a singaporean-born malaysian celebrity chef. He has launched his first-ever ala carte restaurant - Chef Wan's Kitchen. He is offering authentic heritage asian and international cuisines. Some of these amazing creations were actually passed down from his grandmother to his mother and then to him. Wow these multi-generational recipes must be so well-loved to last through the generations. They passed through MUIS site audit and are awaiting our Halal Certification. Once ready, it is great for our muslim friends. A great option for colleagues, friends and family gathering with our muslim friends.
