Ikyu

Ikyu. I have passed by this restaurant many times as it is pretty close where I live. I have always wanted to try the restaurant. Finally, I managed to make a reservation at Ikyu during restaurant week for a birthday celebration. I was so delighted! The best thing is they didn’t fail to disappoint me. A very satisfied dining experience! It is definitely a gem around the Tiong Bahru neighbourhood.

District 10 Bar & Restaurant (UE Square)

District 10 Bar and Restaurant. My friend has told me that he found the complimentary bread (previously served by Bonta which has already closed down) at District 10 Bar and Restaurant. I suddenly have craving for the bread. We decided to pay a visit to District 10 Bar and Restaurant. It is nice to chill out after a long day at work.

Burlamacco Ristorante

I have never heard of Burlamacco till I heard some of my friends going there for Valentine Day Dinners. Singapore really have so many restaurant popping up every day. I went there for our friend lunch gathering. It was on a sunday. The place was quiet. I think we are like the only group around. It was also corkage free. That's a big plus point! More restaurants should consider having some corkage free days.

Dine under the stars Valentine Dinner @ Ramada

Happy Valentine Day! A lot of restaurant are always so crowded on this day that they will usually offer only 2 seating. It is always either 6pm or 8+pm. 6 too early and 8+pm seems too late to me. Ramada organise an al fresco dinner on the brand new lawn just by the Ramada pool, specially prepared for 15 couples. The best is that there is no 2 seating constraint. Luckily, we managed to make a booking.

Cafe Brio

Happy Chinese New Year to everyone! To save all the hassles, we were looking for a place for Chinese New Year Eve reunion dinner. A lot of places have jack up their prices for this period. Finally after lots of research, we finally decided to have our Chinese New Year Eve family reunion dinner at Cafe Brio.

Sabio by the Sea (Sentosa Cove)

An artistically designed restaurant that serves great spanish tapas. It is slightly pricey but luckily the food make up for it. Paella and the Pan-fried Calamari were the winners for me! The location is also perfect for the ambience as it is situated at sentosa cove but unfortunately it is not easily accessible.

Oscar’s @ Conrad Centennial Singapore

Great service with sumptuous and beautiful buffet spread! Bright and Cheery Ambience! However, the fresh crayfish and oysters still has some rooms to improve. They were so sweet to give us a complimentary birthday cake!

Jade @ Fullerton Hotel

The ambience was warm and cozy with a luxurious touch to it. Overall, the service staff are attentive and friendly. The dishes were a bit too salty but they managed to ensure the subsequent dishes were less salty. Thumbs up for the service!
