Hakata Ikkousha (Chijmes)

Hakata Ikkousha ~ Popularly known as the Ramen Champion Winner at Bugis + in 2012 and 2013. They have 2 branches (Tanjong Pagar, Chijmes). Chijmes a lovely accessible place at City Hall but always easily forgotten by many people. I always feel it is a nice place with lovely ambience with many great food places.

Brothers Ramen

Brothers Ramen ~ Run by The 2 CAI brothers, Weili & Weisheng. So heartwarming that 2 brothers have the same passion. I understand they were previously located at a coffeeshop stall in Tanjong Pagar Plaza in 2010. Since 2015, they have moved to a small ramen restaurant in International Plaza. As they are located near my office, I frequently patronise them. I also brought my friends from local and overseas there to try. I am happy that they also love it. A Great Singapore Style Ramen ~

Atmosphere Bistro

Atmosphere Bistro~ I have been seeing awesome pictures on Instagram on their 3D Coffee Art. I just can't help being tempted to give them a try myself. The lovely foam art on the coffee are just so attractive. So glad this art has reached the shores of Singapore.

Invited Tasting: Mexout

MexOut~ I was invited to a sneak preview of the MexOut new branch at Marina Bay Financial Tower before they officially open on 23rd Sep. A new kid on the block at Marina Bay Financial Tower. Think it is a great new option for the time-poor warrior in this hectic area.

Invited Tasting: Thai Boat Noodles

Thai Boat Noodle – Always One Dollar at Bedok Point~ New Kid on the Bedok Point. They are just opened on 22nd Jan 2015. The interesting thing about them is they serve small bowls of different thai boat noodles at only S$1 or S$1.50. First thought in my mind how "big" bowl would that be. 3-4 mouths of noodles would clear the bowl. They have 4 varieties (Mini Boat Noodle Dry/ Soup Version, Tom Yam Noodle and Spicy Pork noodle). This mean you can just order different varieties to try. You can order some side dish to go with or their other thai speciality. Their Tom Yam Fried Rice is amazing. I shall leave to later to give you the details. Most importantly, I would like to give thanks for the invite to the tasting. It was enjoyable experience especially I get to meet other foodies too.

Invited Tasting: The Lawn at Shenton

To be honest, I am not a very salad person but I was really attracted to their concept of customizing the salad and pairing with grilled toppings. A simple, casual and light-hearted place. They have a wide variety of choices for their salad dressings, toppings and grilled meats. Best of all, the salad dressings were all their own creations!

LadyM (Marina Square)

LadyM at Marina Square is the first boutique outside of the United States! Lady M® Mille Crêpes cake tastes so light and good but the strawberry shortcake is a winner to me! So soft and sweet looking! Yummy! Thumbs Up!
