Invited Tasting: Bee Cheng Hiang Grillery

Bee Cheng Hiang Grillery~ The Bee Cheng Hiang Bakkwa Flagship store at 1359 Serangoon Road has evolved to Bee Cheng Hiang Grillery! The grillery also has a dine-in Bistro area where you can enjoy their delish modern dishes using traditional Bakkwa and Flosses as ingredients! You can even come up close to the BBQ CHEF and watch how they barbecue. I enjoyed the Bakkwa Lohei, Mozzarella Katsu, Gourmet Enoki Roll and Cappellini Carbonara the most.

Invited Tasting: Kakuida’s Kurozu | Icon Village

Kakuida's Kurozu | Icon Village~ An hidden gem in Icon Village at Tanjong Pagar! Kakuida’s Kurozu creates a lovely menu of food and drinks using kurozu that caters best to Singaporeans! They infuse about 10% to 20% undiluted kurozu into their food or drinks. I especially enjoy the original donut, organic apple and mango smoothie!

Boufé Boutique Cafe

BOUFÉ BOUTIQUE CAFE~ A hidden gem at Phoenix Park in Tanglin. A colonial-style exterior with a minimalist design interior. Sleek and Simple. Great for weekday lunch and special events like colonial-style weddings. We especially enjoy the BRIOCHE FRENCH TOAST and CREATING MY OWN COSMOS CAKE. I am a Brioche lover. The french toast was soft and not oily. It goes well with the fresh fruits. It is like bursting with flavours and textures. The creating of my own cosmos cake is so fun! A dessert that is delicious and pretty and even brought laughter and joy. It really great bring the dining experience up to the next level!

Sponsored Review: Rookery (Hong Leong Building)

ROOKERY Located at Hong Leong Building near Raffles Place/ Downtown MRT. It is also right across our popular Lau Pa Sat. An Australian-American Casual Dining place. A great place for the office warriors in the area to have drinks and brunch/dinner. My favourites are Iberico Pork Chop, Pulled Pork Benedict and Vongole Alio Olio.

Kyushu Pancake (Novena)

Kyushu Pancake ~ Located at Novena. Kyushu Pancake uses fine Kyushu wheat and flavourful grains to create their pancake flour mix. Nice Cozy Cafe with lovely decor and nice service. Popular for their pancakes. I enjoyed the Berry-Licious Pancake.

Forty Hands (Tiong Bahru)

Forty Hands ~ Located at Tiong Bahru. Surrounded by many lovely cafes and local favourite Tiong Bahru Food Centre. A cozy cafe to have a quick brunch. The seating was kinda cramp and the hard stools were uncomfortable. If you are not particular about seating, it will be a nice place to have a good coffee and brunch. Their coffee are popular with coffee lovers. The brunch are generous in portion but still kinda steep on price. I enjoyed both the Big Boy Breakfast and 40 Hands Cubanos. We were so full at the end of the brunch.

Little House of Dreams (Dempsey)

Little House of Dreams (Dempsey) ~ We were looking for a quick dinner place around Dempsey area and I found the Little House of Dreams in my Entertainer App which offers 1 for 1 Main Course deal. I understand that the Little House of Dreams is a local bakery which offers lovely bespoke cakes and dessert tables. They started from an online store in 2008 and finally a brick and mortar bakery in 2012. Now they also expanded into a bakery bistro in Dempsey.
