Invited Tasting: Rookery (Tanjong Pagar) New Menu Updates

ROOKERY Located at Capital Tower near Tanjong Pagar MRT. An Australian-American Casual Dining place. Great place for brunch, corporate team lunch and chill out after work. My favourites are Baby Back Ribs, Crispy Pork Belly, Wagyu Rump and Signature Monster Cookie.

Invited Tasting: Kakuida’s Kurozu | Icon Village

Kakuida's Kurozu | Icon Village~ An hidden gem in Icon Village at Tanjong Pagar! Kakuida’s Kurozu creates a lovely menu of food and drinks using kurozu that caters best to Singaporeans! They infuse about 10% to 20% undiluted kurozu into their food or drinks. I especially enjoy the original donut, organic apple and mango smoothie!

The Line (Shangri-La Hotel)

The Line - Shangri-La Hotel ~ It has always been one of Singapore's favourite destinations for buffet lunches and dinners. The warm orange partnered with crisp white brighten the restaruant. Making it very cozy and inviting. It is very suitable for big family and friends gatherings. Great for special occasions like Baby Showers, Birthday Celebration and Corporate Events too. Some hits and Some misses. I especially enjoyed their satay, fresh salmon sashimi, laksa, latte and DESSERTS!

Maru (Tanjong Pagar: Icon Village)

MARU (TANJONG PAGAR)~ A contemporary fusion restaurant hidden in Icon Village. It offers innovative appealing dishes. It is also less than 10 minutes walk from Tanjong Pagar Mrt (East-West Line). They are great for casual after-work drinks and group gatherings. The office warriors will love this to have a break from the hectic work. A charming uniquely designed interior which was inspired by street scenes of the Old Quarter of Hanoi. We especially enjoy the UNI IKURA BOWL and WAGYU BEEF DON.

Labyrinth (Esplanade)

LABYRINTH (ESPLANADE)~ An Instagram-Worthy restaurant that offers a mind-blowing dining experience especially to the locals. The popular local dishes are all transformed into a totally different form. It is very CREATIVE. A restaurant with interiors designed in dark shades. It looks quite stylish and cozy. We especially enjoy the HOKKAIDO SCALLOP and INDONESIAN PORK BELLY.

Hyang To Gol (Raffles City)

HYANG TO GOL (RAFFLES CITY)~ This outlet is very accessible as it is located right above City Hall Mrt. Great Location. After having a meal, still can go shopping. The outlet is attractive and comforting. We especially enjoyed the Ginseng Chicken Soup. The portion is very generous. The soup was flavourful and the chicken was moist and tender.

IKURA (FOOK HAI BUILDING)~ A cozy and intimate hidden gem at Fook Hai Building. It is actually less than 10 minutes walk from Chinatown MRT. It serves a good variety of Japanese cuisine. From yakitori to sushi to sashimi to ramen. Great for small family and friends gatherings. I enjoyed the SASHIMI, GRILLED FISH CHEEK, ABURI SALMON SUSHI with MENTAIKO SAUCE and BEEF STEAK most.

Boufé Boutique Cafe

BOUFÉ BOUTIQUE CAFE~ A hidden gem at ​Phoenix Park in Tanglin. A colonial-style exterior with a minimalist design interior. Sleek and Simple. Great for weekday lunch and special events like colonial-style weddings. We especially enjoy the BRIOCHE FRENCH TOAST and CREATING MY OWN COSMOS CAKE. I am a Brioche lover. The french toast was soft and not oily. It goes well with the fresh fruits.It is like bursting with flavours and textures. The creating of my own cosmos cake is so fun! A dessert that is delicious and pretty and even brought laughter and joy. It really great bring the dining experience up to the next level!
