MexOut~ I was invited to a sneak preview of the MexOut new branch at Marina Bay Financial Tower before they officially open on 23rd Sep. A new kid on the block at Marina Bay Financial Tower. Think it is a great new option for the time-poor warrior in this hectic area.

Dim Sum @ Jumbo Seafood (NSRCC)

Jumbo Seafood~ First thought come into my mind is their Chilli Crab~ They are famous for their seafood dishes. I didn't know that they serve Dim Sum during lunch time. I was a bit skeptical initially for this seafood restaurant offering dim sum. I am glad that they never fail to amaze me. The dim sum was delicious!

Ember

Ember~ Housed inside Hotel 1929. It is always highly recommended by my friends as it serves quality modern European cuisine. Leading Culinary Scene for Ember is experienced Chef Sufian Bin Zain who has previously held executive roles in Iggy's and Waku Ghin. The lunch set is a steal! You get to pick 3 courses courses from the lunch menu priced at S$42 per set.

Old Street Bak Kut Teh (老街肉骨茶) – Funan DigitaLife Mall

Old Street Bak Kut Teh (老街肉骨茶)~ A small Bak Kut Teh restaurant at Funan DigitaLife Mall. What is Bak Kut Teh? You can literally translate it to "Meat Bone Tea". It is a chinese soup with Key Ingredient - Pork Ribs. Ironically, There is no tea inside in the soup but more of drinking chinese tea along with the dish. Basically, pork ribs are simmered with different variety herbs or spices (depends on the style). Some are more Herbalish and some are more Pepperish. So it greatly depends on your preference. I love both!

10 Great Brunch Places in Singapore

Weekend is always a good time to catch on my sleep. Often by the time I wake up, it will already be late morning. Just in time for a good brunch! *Winkz* Scrambled Eggs, Egg Benedict, Smoked Salmon, Sausage are all my favorite and they simply lit up my day!

Royal Pavilion

Royal Pavilion~ We were there to catch up with our friends. My friend recommended to have dim sum at Royal Pavilion. I had never been there before. I was surprise that there wasn't many customers when I arrive. I asked my friend about it whether they are a new restaurant that people are not aware of My friend told me that they are actually booked and the good thing was they had only 1 seating. Lovely. I hate to rush my lunch at dim sum restaurant that serve more than 1 seating and you are shooed to quickly leave after lunch. Making it hard to enjoy a lovely dim sum. So it is so wonderful that they only have 1 seating.

8 Great Dim Sum Places in Singapore

Pasta Brava is always highly recommend by many of my friends. I have been there for lunch once too for my colleague's birthday celebration. This time I decided to bring my family to try the awesome pasta!
