Hong Kong Trip Aug 2014 (4 Days 3 Nights) Part 1 of 3

Can’t wait for our Hong Kong holiday! It was a 4 days 3 nights trip but actually more like a 3 days 3 night trip. We booked scoot airline. The timing was quite bad as we will fly out at 6:55am on the last day. I miss Hong Kong! Its been 2 years since I went there. Hong Kong is getting more and more crowded over the years. Nevertheless, I still love Hong Kong. Shopping…Espirit….H&M! Food…Dim Sum…Char Siew…Roast Goose…Egg Tart! Yum Yum…Just the thought it..I already can’t wait to go back.

Z’en Japanese Cuisine (UE Square)

Z'en. We were thinking of what to eat and I was lazy to ask Mr Google. We decided to go Robertson Quay. We parked at UE Square. Z'en looks pretty crowded. I was also in the mood of having Japanese. It seems like a good choice with the crowd. I guess wouldn't go too wrong. Why not give it a try? We may just be lucky and found a gem in the area.

Gaia Korean Restaurant (Holland Village)

Gaia. It was a birthday celebration for my father. I was thinking where to take my family out to dinner. Buffet..Japanese..Korean...Tough choice when they always love somewhere new and good. I decided to pick korean as its been long since we had one together. Now the issue is where... Mr Google is always helpful. I saw Gaia. I like what they says on their site about them. They promise healthy food that is similar to what you can get in a Korean's home. Gaia is the one to try. Bear in mind to go early if you are driving. Finding parking lots at the Holland Village can be a nightmare unless you are in luck.

The Royal Mail (The Ascott Raffles Place)

The Royal Mail. Interesting Name. I heard that it used to be the post office during Sir Stamford Raffles times. I was previously introduced to this place by my friend when he couldn't make it for the restaurant week appointment. Nice Ambience. It was a great choice and value for money. I decided to try them again this round for dinner in restaurant week.

Lime (Park Royal Hotel on Pickering)

Lime. Interesting name for a restaurant. It gives a sour and refreshing touch to the restaurant. It was a family gathering. We had a great deal. It was fun to try a new restaurant together. Buffet is always great for gatherings. Everyone get to pick what they want and eat what amount they like. Of course, if you eat little, it seem like a waste but you get to try all different variety. So I always love to choose buffet for gatherings. I like the ambience and the food! Great variety for a buffet spread.

Slappy Cakes (Resort World Sentosa)

Slappy Cakes! Slappy Cakes has become one of the most popular breakfast spots in Portland since 2009 as they offers a fun dining experience. They offer DIY your own pancakes. They offers the batter, toppings, and sauces. You just pick the ones you like. Just put on your creative cap and let your creative juice flow... So fun! Of course, you can make your own pancakes at home but the best is no need to do washing after that. I totally love it! Definitely, I will come back again.

Resorts World Genting Highlands Trip (April 2014)

Tweet Share 0 +1 Genting. Wow it’s been super duper long since I last been to Genting. It was so many years ago. We took a coach ride early in the morning and went on easter day. The whole place is super packed! Genting also don’t seems as cold as last time but the weather […]

Poulet (Great World City)

Poulet. It was one of the week day night gathering with our great friends. Initially, we were thinking to go Imperial Treasure. We decided to change to Poulet. I have never been to poulet. Good opportunity to give it a try. I have been seeing a lot of the chicken advertisement. Our friends were also singing praise for their signature roast chicken.
